Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

What is the CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, consists of a community of individuals who purchase a share to support the farm operation so the farm becomes, either largely or spiritually, the community’s farm with the grower and the customer providing mutual support and sharing the benefits and risks of the farm’s production. Members are shareholders of the farm, and pay in advance to cover the anticipated costs of the farm operation and the grower’s salary. In return, they receive weekly shares in the farm’s harvest throughout the growing season, as well as the satisfaction gained from a reconnection with the land where their food is grown.

How much does it cost?
For 2009, our CSA at Hendy Hollow Organic Farm will be on hold. Plese check our site for news of 2010 plans. Thanks for a great season!
